The Baptism of the Holy Ghost is the indwelling of God's spirit in the soul of an individual believer. It is the third work of God's saving grace in a sinner's life.
The first work of grace of the Holy Spirit in an individual begins with one having faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as one's personal Saviour and in the finished work of redemption on Calvary's tree. Faith in God's Word is counted as righteousness, as Abraham's faith in God's Word was counted as righteousness (Romans 4:3,5). So we are justified by faith in the unadulterated Word of God. In the "Church Order Jeff. 1958", the prophet William Branham said, 'We believe in justification by faith, Romans 5:1. We believe, that after a person being justified by faith, he has peace with the Lord Jesus Christ. But it's possible that this same person could have habits such as drinking, smoking, doing things that he should not do, filthy habits of the flesh.'
There are three most common beliefs about the GODHEAD today. They are:
In Revelation the 17 and 18 chapters, we are given one of the ominous warnings contained in the whole scripture. Here, we find a great WOMAN which is called the "Great Whore, Mystery Babylon, and the Mother of Harlots".
She is also identified as the Mother of all the abominations of the earth. She stands above all others as a direct enemy to Jesus Christ. Her own seductive spell has swept the whole earth, from the kings to the inhabitants in it.
INTRODUCTION
WATER BAPTISM is a basic requirement to a Christian’s salvation.Mark 16:16 states, “He that believeth and is baptised shall be SAVED; but he that believeth NOT shall be damned”. 1 Peter 3:21 also reads, “The like figure whereunto even baptism doth also now SAVE us (Not the putting away of the filth of the flesh, but the answer of a good conscience towards God,) by the resurrection of Jesus Christ.”
A series of questions usually arise in Water Baptism; “What is the Biblical way of doing it?” Is baptism performed by sprinkling? Or is it by immersion in water? Is it using the TITLES of father, son, and Holy Ghost (Matthew 28:19), or using the NAME of the Lord Jesus Christ? (Acts 2:38).
The Truth About Tithes, Offerings and Vows
Tithing first appears in the Holy Bible in Genesis 14:20 in connection with Abraham and Melchizedek. Abraham, though not yet living under the Law, for the Law was given under Moses, paid tithes to Melchizedek and was offered the very first communion of bread and wine.
Offering first appears in the scriptures in Genesis 4:4-5. The Lord gives us a wonderful example in the lives of Cain and Abel with respect to bringing their offerings unto the Lord. But we've seen that even though both children brought offerings unto the Lord, God had pleasure in Abel's offering because it was done in the spirit of revelation.
